Happy Birthday Taelor. Tae turned 7 on Tuesday. I cant believe how big and grown up she is. She had a great day. They went on a field trip at school to the new library. Then they went to the park for lunch and to play. We took some treats over to her class as well. She got to open presents when Ty got home from work. We had family over later that night for cake and ice-cream. Taelor wanted to go out to eat for her birthday, so we told her she could pick anywhere she wanted to go. (I thought she would pick Mimi's or Red Robin or Chili's) She thought for a minute and said "Arby's"! We laughed and asked her if she was sure and she said she was. So off to Arby's we went. Funny girl.
Taelor got some great things for her birthday. 3D chalk, clothes, leapster and game, markers, crocs, nail polish and decals, lip gloss, a Hannah Montana hat, treats, money. Thanks for all the great gifts guys!
Taelor and I found a cute "groovy jeans" cake on the computer and that is what she wanted me to make her this year. It turned out pretty cute. Some day I will take some classes and really get into cake making. It is something I have been interested in for a long time.
Taelor is such a good girl. She has a very soft heart. She is a great helper to me and does so much with the other kids. She loves to play and carry Jace around. She is such a little mommy. Taelor is very artsy. She loves to draw, color, make things, paint, and stamp. Tae loves to play outside and cant wait for soccer to start again. (that's my girl!) We just love her so much! Even the attitude that comes with being in 1st grade! She is such a great girl. We love you Taelor!!

The "Whine" Flu
We have become victims of the dreaded "whine" flu. We have been sharing this throughout our house now for 3 weeks. Fever, chills, cough, runny nose, nausea, oh my! Taelor was the first to catch it. She also had the most severe case. She missed a whole week of school. Poor girl. Kinley caught it towards the end of Taelors run. She coughed more than anything. Then lucky me, I was next. Moms are not supposed to be sick. Tyler ended up having to come home early from work to help with the kids. Now if I ask for help, you know its bad. I only had it for 2 days. Ill take that over a week any day. Dennin kind of caught the tail end of it. Just a fever for a few days and a cough. Luckily Jace has been spared, Tyler as well. It was no fun. We missed out on some fun things I was going to blog as well. My Grandpa Reid turned 74 and the whole family meet at a park for dinner and to celebrate all that he and my grandma has done for our family. Taelor was the only one well so Tyler and her went. They had a great time. Hopefully we are done with this crap and can now enjoy the summer and have some fun!

Huntin' for Eggs
On Saturday we had our annual Schiffman family gathering which includes a picnic and Easter egg hunt. It was at my moms house this year. Grandma and Grandpa always buy KFC and we bring all the fixings. Our get together is getting bigger each year now that my cousins are having kids as well, which is good because now there is a whole new generation hunting for eggs, and we get to hid them this time. After the picnic the kids hunted for eggs. Each kid is assigned a number. That way everyone gets the same amount of eggs and the same treats. Smart huh, can you tell we have been doing this for a while?! It eliminates the fighting. Then we just hung out and visited for a while. It was alot of fun and the kids had a ball.

Happy Birthday Mom!
At the end of March was my mothers birthday. My mother is amazing lady and I look up to her. She is a incredible grandmother and my kids just love going to "Grandma Joys" house. My mother is very independent, and that is something that I admire about her. Although sometimes it can get her into trouble....on time she didn't want to wait for my dad to get home to hook up the swamp cooler so she put my little brother down for a nap and climbed up on the roof and did it her self. Well the ladder fell and she got stuck on the roof with a baby who had just woke up inside alone. She yelled for help but no one heard her, she finally got a passing cars attention by whistling. (Another thing she is known for) They helped her get the ladder back up and down from the roof. I love my mom and don't know where I would be without her. For her birthday (which was on Sunday) I cooked her dinner so she wouldn't have too, and we had the family over for cake and ice cream. I don't have too many pictures of just us together, so we took this one. Love ya mom!!

Go Syracuse!
Its spring and that can only mean one thing......Its soccer season!! My brother Jaxon is a junior at Syracuse High and is on the soccer team. We love to go watch him play. He of course is #10. That has been a family number since my Dad was #10 on the high school basketball team. Jaxon plays outside half on the varsity team. I took some pictures at the game against Weber but this is the only one that was not blurry. I'm not the best action picture taker. So far Syracuse is 2-1. There are alot of games to go and I cant wait to go watch them. So go Jaxon and Go Syracuse Titans!!

Dennin turnes 3!
On March 15th Dennin turned 3!! I cant believe how big he is. It was Sunday and the kids were still getting over their sicknesses so I was not at church with them. So we had to wait until Tyler got home to open presents. Dennin got a Spiderman Hideout set with the Hulk and a new bike. He was so excited he jumped right on his bike and starting riding it around the living room. Later that evening those family members who dared to come to the "house of sick" came over for some cake and ice cream. Dennins cake was a basketball jersey. He had a great birthday and was so excited to hear everyone sing happy birthday to him.
I cant believe my little man is 3! He is such a busy kid. He cant get enough sports. He was shooting a basketball before he was 1. He spends time each day shooting hoops. He also loves soccer, golf, baseball and bowling. He pretty much always has some sports ball with him. He loves to go to his Uncle Jaxons games and always has to bring a ball to play with at halftime. He also loves to watch the Jazz with his dad. Uncle Jesse and Aunt Jodi gave him a Utah Jazz jersey (Number 8, Deron Williams) for his birthday. Dennin gives the best hugs. He is a huge teaser and knows just what to do to get his sisters going. He loves his little brother Jace. He lays by him and play with him all the time. It is so cute to see the two of them together. Dennin is loud and funny and gets into everything!! Which sometimes gets him into trouble. I love you Dennin, Happy Birthday!

All Better
Here in the Anderson household there have been some sick kids. Taelor started with a cold, which quickly spread through the house. The three oldest had it pretty bad. We were going through the tissues and the Mortin and had humidifiers in all the bedrooms. I dont think there was a span of 5 seconds that someone wasnt coughing. I took them in to the Doctor after a good week of not getting better and they all had bronchitis and Taelors had turned into pneumonia. So we got her started on medicine and she missed a week and a half of school. Oh boy what fun it has been around here! Jace managed to stay pretty safe. That's only because the others were not even allowed to breath next to him let alone touch him or his toys. Now Tae is finally back to school and the kids are much better. The only thing worse than having one sick kid is having 3 at a time, but I guess it was better that they were all sick at once than it lasting for a month with each kid having a week and a half to themselves!
